Is it just me or is anyone else who saw this movie completely disappointed?
As a huge comic/movie fan, I was very much hyped to see this movie. I even watched the very first Superman from 1978. Superman 2 and 3 equally sucked, but the first one was in my opinion a decent movie.
In Superman Returns, the director had so many tools at his fingertips and flat out didn't use one! I was extremely bored during the movie and also disappointed that quite a few of the lines were actually recycled from the first movie.
Kevin Spacey was the only plus in this movie. You can very much tell that this movie was purely a catalyst for the next (he did the same thing with Xmen although at least that movie kept my attention).
There are a few other things that bothered me about this flick, but I don't want to lay out any spoilers for those who have not viewed. If you are contemplating seeing this movie, wait for DVD. You won't be disappointed that you did. _________________ Xbox 1.4

The movie wasn't very good, and taking out Superman fighting "for the American way" was offensive. The movie had no moral character, and wasn't entertaining. I think the only way someone can enjoy this movie is if they aren't a superman fan.
