When you check sites like newegg.com
Always remember to look up something like "OEM Hard drives"
Original Equipment basically. Its overstock from major computer manufacturers and you can find some rather cheap deals. All it comes with is sealed in a plain box, no retail packaging or instructions. So you can get this cheap.
At tigerdirect.com,
I got a refurbished 300gb HDD Maxtor AND an external Usb/firewire Ide-->USB enclosure (Retail around 45.00) for 129.99 plus a 40 dollar mail in rebate . Its just finding that great deal.
Someone always posts a website called "***Outpost" i think it was loki or sjohn usually. maybe they could cue in the proper address. _________________ XBOX v1.6

I have so many tv shows on my xbox, its saps a lot of space. I also have a lot of DiVX movies (Used the program Gordian Knot), about 90 of them, and then I had 10 games loaded on there so I didn't have to bring my discs to lan parties with me.
It goes quick.
One guy Scourge on here has the Xtender hdd setup, with 2x 300gb hdd's and than annother 100+gb i thnk. or maybe the original hdd...not sure, but he was always on the b rink of full, b/c he would still stream off his computer. _________________ XBOX v1.6

Western Digital is the best Ive used, I tend to find that Maxtor harddrives run hotter. _________________
