Since I got a 200gig hd, I have read several places that my xbox evox dash will only recognize 137gig and if I want to utilize the rest I will need to use a program called UnleashX, is this still the case, I read this in a forum posted about 2yrs ago. Is there anything special I need to do with the new hd for arranging a place for the games? Since it appears that the F drive is the largest, will I need to change on how my evox recognized the location of the games? I know I am asking a ton of questions.......basically I need to know:
1.) Will I need to do something special to utilize the full 200gig of my hd
2.) Do I need to rearrange my folder system so evox can save my games to a recogizeable area
If there is answers or a "Good" forum/post that can answer these please advise......much props/kudos to all you smart guys out there........

you have to be more specific do you have a softmod or a chip. if its a softmod unleashx will see all 200 gigs. I dont know about evox because I dont use it.

well evox is a dashboard and unleash x is also another dashboard. but dbeal is right what do you have ? if its a softmod then you just need to formate F and G to gain the rest of hd space . if its chipped xbox then you need a specifc bios . now i would recommend changing to unleash x because its soo much good and you can file manager /explore and has many more features that are not found on evox.... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

ok so if its a softmod then just do 1 of these 2 . 1) run aid 3 and go to its file manager /explore and highlight F and formate it . same with G .... and 2) instal unleash x and then formate the rest of the space...
althou i would say do download aid 3 because its very useful for apps for your xbox. if your xbox reads burned music then you can burn aid 3 on a cdr if it does not then burn it on a dvdr ..... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Ok...you have peaked my interest. Is the switch/change over to unleashx from evox easy? Is there good steps someplace to do such a thing?

yea its pretty easy just download aid 3 burn it to a disc (restrictions may apply depending on what i mentioned) and choose from a softmod section and click install unleash x ...
what softmod installer did you choose? it may or might not matter . like is it sid 2 sid 4.5 or what? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

I am downloading AID3 now. As for the current softmod I have on my system......A friend of mine did it for me.....I know he used the 007 game to do it and another disk. I knew nothing at the time, or I would have payed more attention. I have been hitting the forums hot and heavy the last few weeks, and have learned a whole heck of a lot......I am in the military and the friend who modded my xbox has pcs'd (moved) and have not been in touch with him. Thanks again for the help.........

Ok.....I know I ask a lot questions....sorryy about that. I just checked the dvdrom and it does not play cdr's, so I guess dvd-r's is my only option. OR can I ftp the AID3 into my drives, or is it something that needs to be booted? If the dvd-r route is the only way, do I burn AID3 as an xISO file?

if you could of ftp i would say so .... but srry for not saying... so looks like dvd-r is the only way to go ... burn the iso image file thats is included on the download as an iso image file. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
