Hi Everyone,
You know how we can transfer any file from computer to xbox via FTP?
Well, it's a pain for me to setup my laptop, and router, plug it in, etc, etc, etc.
I just want to transfer .avi, .mpg, mp3's, etc. So I can watch them on my Xbox Media Center without the hassle.
I've tried making an Xbox iso using xISOv0.9.1, on a CD-RW at 8x burn, but it didn't read. Then I just did a straight burn on a CD-RW at 4x burn, and again the Xbox doesn't detect anything.
Am I missing something here? How do I format the CD's so that Xbox can just simple read the files and I can transfer it over using Boxplorer.
Thanks everyone.

if its videos or music just use a normal burning method dont need to use xiso. And It could be the cds your using, xboxes are picky when it comes to burning media. _________________

hey, thanks for your reply. ok, well I'd rather burn it on an RW instead of something permanent. I'll try again. I'll use a 4x burn instead and see what happens.

You need to just find the right media.. Thats all it is..
Once you get the rightmedia it will work everytime.
I would suggest using XBMC and the fileexplorer..
XBMC is a kick ass dashboard..
