Ok here we go you need to go and download this fetch ftp program here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/downloads-cat50.html . Then you take the dog icon and click and drag it to the desktop. Go to you box and set the IP to 192.168.1.5, with the sub net of 255.255.255.0
Now go to the systems settings and click your network icon below. Set the auto to man. and use the Ethernet modem too. Then change your ip to 192.168.1.3 and have your 255.255.255.0. Now reboot the x-box. now click open the fetch program and right away it goes to the quick launch. put in 192.168.1.5 and Xbox (lowercase) for both user name and password and bam your drives should show up.
You just ftp using a Mac
