HOW DO I MAKE THE XBMC THE DEFAULT DASH ???? ALL THE XBOX IS CURRENTLY RUNNING IS SID 4.5 WITH THE EVOX DASH ???

Heres what I just did, like an hour ago. I uninstalled my SID 2.0 instillation. I installed the SID 4.5 softmod. I booted into AID 3.0. I installed XBMC under "install hacked dashboard". I rebooted right into XBMC.

hey will that work if you have sid3 and want to move up to sid 4.5? I am tired of being blocked form live and having an old sid. How do I change them? I have every dashboard there is. So can I just delete my sid3 in C drive and replace it with sid 4.5? Idk if I would just boot to my default dash(unleashx) or if I owuld get error 21. I already did that on one xbox.

I booted to sid 2.0 from Splinter Cell and uninstalled the mod completely, then reinstalled the mod with 4.5.
I'm not sure what you are trying to do will work, as I dont ever play and none of my buddies play live.
If you get error 21, try booting up the box with Splinter Cell in the drive? See if you can uninstall that way?

Which would you install the XBMC dashboard to? Also, shouldn't you be choosing the "Install Dashboard (Softmod)"?

if you have aid 3.0, you can:
format c and e
install ms dash
backup eeprom, msdash
install softmod 4.5
reboot, finished softmod.
load aid
prepare e drive
go to install hacked dashboard
install xbmc to e:\
install other software.
