I have a new xbox that I just took apart. I need to extend the disk drive, power and eject buttons. I have a roll of some raw cat5 cable to extended everything. Can anyone help me out with what I am suppose to be doing. I pulled the disk drive out, but not sure what all I need to extend to remote everything.

hey shityschmidty,

what are you trying to do..

Sounds liike you want to have the XBOX HDD on the outside of the XBOX CASE.. Is this right..

Maybe you have some links or other sites with information about what your trying to do..

Are you trying to add a 2nd HDD to your XBOX but keep it outside.. Im just lost as to what you are trying to do..

if you have a RETAIL XBOX HDD installed remove it and install a 300GB hdd.. thats the easiest way.. Then no need for external HDD's etc

hope you get the idea mate,

cheers,

forahobby
