Hey i just bought a new Maxtor 250 gig HD and i have a hardmodded xenium 2 chip and i was wondering how exactly i change the HDD i see lots of tutorials for softmodded boxes i would like to know if its easier or possibly harder. any help would be good

I think you just put in the hdd and load AID. Then format C E and F, then install the dashboards you want. As long as your chip is flashed with the hdd upgrade ability. _________________ Moddingbandit

ok so i do what modding bandit and you say or just format it and prepare e,f,g. and please dont think im dumb for saying what do you mean by formating doesnt formating ewrase everyhting which it is brand new so nothing should be on it anyway also how would i prepare E,F, and G

you format C E F G and then you prepare E F G, just slap in the harddrive and format its really that simple _________________

Yes, just format those 4 folders then Prepare the 3 and your set. Then just use AID to install your dashes on C and E, and then do w/e else you'd like to do. have fun _________________ Moddingbandit

can i do that with IAD 2 becasue that is what i have and im not a member so i cant get AID 3

Ok so this is how i do it i put the larger hard drive in my xbox load AID 2 then there will be a setting in it that will guide me through the whole thing

I would get AID 3.0 + the AID 3.1 update pack to make it AID 3.1 and you will have the latest stuff like dashes, apps,skins,etc.... _________________
