Hi i have just installed an Xecuter 2.6 CE into my xbox 1.3 and i am looking for some help in order to 'flash' it. Every link basically points to the teamxecuter site, but thats is down so im growing impatient.
I would like to know thoroughly the easiest way to successfully flash my chip.
I have softmodded in the past so im used to the bios's and the apps (i have AID 3.1 already), but i do prefer using Unleash (why do people like using evox, is it me or does it have really basic features?)
I am also putting in a 20gb hard drive just for some extra space, so do i put it in the hard drive while i flash or after ive flashed the chip?
The retail xbox hard drive had error 21 beacuse of a MS dash screw up, is there any way to get my old saves off that drive after ive successfully insalled the chip?

Thanks for the link. I tried HTTP flashing method as it looks the easiest, but i cant get it to work. I connected the crossover cable to my PC, deactivated windows firewall in my LAN connection, and typed in the correct (i think) details into the properties of the IP, but i cant get it to work. The computer shows im connected but i cant get the DHCP address and am assinged a static IP address. When i type that into IE it can not load the page. Am i missing something? Is it somehting to do with my internet protection software?
Any help GREAT.
