ok have a softmod xbox was running fine , now i am getting unable to update xbox live but i didnt have it hooked up for live but everytime i boot the xbox i get this message

how about more info man??? whats the softmod called? sid 4 sid 4.5 ??? what the latest ms dash you have installed??? again as much as info as possible .

ok so your saying you have dualboot=retail with unleashx..... and when you press open tray it says : unable to update xbox live?

did you installed the latest ms dash 5960? and what did you do exactly before this happend?

boot your game and uninstall it properly. and remod it

man if it was that easy i would have done that , but what you dont understand i get no other screen other than cannot update xbox live , that is my boot screen that message nothing else comes up. and i dont know what they did someone else's xbox and they dont know 12 year old messing with it .

ok so no dashboards appear just xbox live thing right? coldboot the game and remod it , or hotswap

cold boot means pop the disc in power off console and power it back on with the disc inside, hotswap what that does it returns your xbox to brand new retail state .....

but first try to cold boot your game and remod see what happens their... and put unleas x Razz dual=retail
