i have an x3 chip and have flashed my BIOS....its working fine. I have tried burning a DVD-r with AID 3.0 i put a gig dummy file in there. When i load it on my xbox it goes to through the "rox my box" screen and than microsoft flashes at the bottom and it just stays at that screen. I have tried burning two different dvd-r's but they both do the same thing...freeze at the microsft screen...........actually nothing will load...not games or anything.......but my BIOS appears to be working fine........and if i turn it on without the chip on it works fine........ thanks for the help

it could be something as small as the media (brand) you are using.
Try burning another DVD-R but this time burn it at the slowest speed.

I would suggest using DVDDecrypter to burn the .iso file too. Or nero if you have to.

Dont forget you have to unrar the AID3 .rar files so you can a AID.iso file.
Then burn it.

l8r and hope that helps some
