Well, I connected my FTP to my xbox (by changing the IP address in my xbox) but I couldn't connect to xbl. I turn the softmod off (green light on xbox). I started troubleshoot and this is what it said:
The network gateway could not be reach.Verify the IP address match the settings provided by your ISP....
P.S. How do you delete a thread in this forum?

theirs an X on the side of your thread. theirs a way to fix it but i keep on forgeting. disconnect the cable on the back of your xbox then on modded mode click ms dash go to network > and go to adanvace and chage inside ip from manuel to auto ..... and save and then try retail mode _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Lol i guess me and modding weren't meant to be. So when do I reconnect the cable?

no its not you its just that theirs been a lil issue with this part ....
once you save the settings and turn off xbox then you can plug cable back and turn on retail mode _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
