So it was yesterday, i was modding an xbox of my friend(Using SID3.1 Nknave), and in the excitement of modding and talking to my friends i forgot to put the MS dash back on to C!

So i got a non working xbox, it will only boot up originals. And it shows a black screen after i boot it with the christmas lights effect.
I dont have the exploit savegames on the HD so i cant remod it again.
Tho, i do have the MS dash and the eeprom.bin backup on E.

So what will fix my problems. Do i need to use the Hotswap technique, or can i just use XboxHDM to build a HD from scratch?

I have another softmodded xbox so i could copy the necessary files off that.

Unless you have formated or deleted the files from e:, the gamesaves should still be there. Load the game you used for the exploit and install the softmod. You can install the m$dash with AID once you have the softmod working.
If the gamesaves are really gone then you will have to do the hotswap.

Yah, i hotswaped it. Works fine now.
The only problem im having with it is that the led continues to blink red/green/orange. Even tho i only installed the ms dash! Games work fine. Savemanager works fine. Everything works fine, but the leds.
