To all the developers and modgods out there, you guys have a great Great website. I think you should start a periodical, monthly or bi-annual would be good to both raise money for the upkeep of this site and to get your word out even further. I know I'd subscribe and I'm sure many others here would too.
You could have FAQ's in the back of each issue full of screen shots, new downloads, and general help topics for newbies and experts, not to mention bio's of the developers and admin etc, stores to purchase pre-modded boxes, chips, on and on...
I've never encountered anything like that so in a way, you'd be innovators and could be very successful with it. Skies the limit! What do ya think?

Well I would second this. I would love to have a magazine from here, so I can be up to date on everythin in case I am unable to be online. It would be a great fundraiser as well. _________________ Moddingbandit

I'd be willing to put in for this as well, I think its a great idea!
It would indeed cost money to set up, but once its rolling, would raise money for the site/network, as well as getting our name out to more people _________________

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble.
However, you have a lot of people bitching about 5 dollars to get a trial membership to VIP Servers and gain access to AID3, not specifically this one, but in past AID Releases.
The cost of producing such a magazine would be all in the red. The only way he couldn't lose if it was just an archived copy of news threads and other events and possibly new tutorials and archive the old ones as well.
And then the disc would have to be made on a case by case basis, money first of course....
Once again, I am a pessimist in many ways, but what everyone SHOULD get "vamped" about is Forahobby going retail and selling video games. He is trying to set it up now, if you haven't noticed the "Buy Now" tabs on top of game review pages. With cash from that, he could not only help pay himself for his work and mental creation, but to further enhance the site, possibly gaining enough momentum to create said magazine.
It starts with a single snowflake to make the avalanche. We just need to get to the breeching point first.
But yes, a magazine IS a terrific idea.
