Hello Everyone,
Im new to modding but do have softmodded xbox from AFOAF that is broken.
Id like to learn modding for myself so Im not reliant on 3rd parties for repairs and fixes ect.

Im getting together all the software and stuff I need to attempt my first softmod.
Im having problems with the aid30 download from aidelux.com, it downloads fine but when I unrar I get a crc error extracted file may be corrupt.
Ive downloaded from the mirror and from the torrent and both have the same problem, Im using picozip to unrar.
Please advise me as to how to overcome this problem.

Hmmm, you could try using WinRar, from www.rarlabs.com. This may extract the archive properly.

there shouldn't be a problem with the torrent, it just sounds like extraction problems.

Ive downloaded and installed winrar and 7-zip, both give crc errors in the following files:

C:\Documents and Settings\Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v3.0.rar: CRC failed in Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v3.0\aid30.r21. The file is corrupt

So could someone tell me where I might download these individual rar files or any other suggestions?
