ok i have a xbox with a dead (unlockabe long story) hd i'm going to upgrade that hd to a 250 gig now i have 2 options i would use but which do you think is the best
1. the box was modded with a old xcuter 1 chip i have the old files for the unmodded xbox so use xboxhdm and make the 250 gig with that install the mod chip then boot aid3 and off to the races
2. i have the old original 8gig drive which was modded with the chip first install chip and that drive then after boot with aid swap the 8gig and put the 250 gig in and let it fly
also should i lock the drive after install not going on live at all dose it matter?
thanks for a GREAT PAC like AID3 it ROCKS!!

You can just hook up the new hdd since you have a mod chip installed. Use AID to install m$dash to c: and your evox dash to e:. You won't need xboxhdm to build the drive. Just use the format tools in AID.
Use config magic to lock your drive. That way when you disable the chip, it will boot the m$dash for live play. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
