It's okay mate, we're all new at one time!
Give us a little more info. What exactly is your problem that you are having.
What modchip are you using. The HD lock won't be an issue right now, let's just find out how far you are right now and what the first problem you have is.
We'll get you up and running. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

The problem is i was taking the solider out of the lpc holes and i dripped a little onto the chip next to the lpc. I didnt notice until i powered on my xbox and fried it. So the motherboard is no good. I'm gona buy a replacement soon. So if anyone has any suggestion on where to get just a motherboard please send them to me. But anyways I have a aladdin live mod-chip with the evox m-7ef bios on it. I had a v1.0 xbox with original h/d. My question is can i use and lock my old hard drive without wiping it out. And what cd-rw can a thomson drive read because mine wont read memorex 4x cd-rw's. And i have no clue how to set-up evox. Thanks for all of your help.

hi thepita23,
I normally buy all my spares from lik-sang.. They have power supplies etc but dont have motherboards from memory.. If you want to have a look anyway just click this link or the one up the top saying 'XBOX REPAIRS'.
http://www.lik-sang.com
I would also check EBAY!.. You always find second hand dvdroms, and other accessories on there..
I just had a look at all the websites i deal with and no xbox motherboards sorry.. Hope you find one soon.
