i just got this xbox from my friend for cheap and i wanted to use it for parts cus he said that there was no chance in fxing it. but when i got to my house i plugged it up and it had an error 16 on the screen!! i really dont have the slightest bit of idea what this is , i want to to know can this be fixed and if yes , HOW???

The clock.xip files are missing or corrupt. You could hotswap the HDD and re-install the dash files or fit a chip and use an autoinstaller to restore them.
You will then be able to set the clock and have a working box
