i tried to load the evox again off of my splintercell game, but it wouldn't even load the game, the xbox won't load anything and always goes to a weird asian screen with the error number 16, i need a simple way to fix it without costing me any money. any suggestions welcomed

ok i have another idea, instead of doin all of this work for a little 4.5 gb hard drive, what are the steps i need to follow to get a 200gb hard drive working on my xbox. i am thinking about replacing the standard hard drive with a 200, is it hard to make a 200 work with an xbox?

do you have backups made of the original harddrive or just the eeprom backed up. _________________

i am not sure, once i had copied a back up of my hd to my friends comp, not sure what it all contained since he did it. if u have aim, here is my sn it would be maybe easier and fast to talk this way ghstbstrpunk189

Your still going to need the info from that harddrive most likely he dont have the backup anymore, so we have to restore the xbox and mod it again. _________________

ok here is what i'll do, i will try to get my xbox restored to normal, then re install the evox, after i have successfuly recoved it and re installed the evox softmod, i'll post another topic asking how to get my xbox to run off a 200 GB hard drive. sound good?

Alright, and if your getting you buddy to do this again get him to make you a backup and make a xboxhdm cd so you can make your upgradded harddrive. _________________

he made some kind of back up for me, not sure if it will help at all though. so click on your sig thing and that will tell me how to recover it all right?

yes just click on my sig. Having a back up and using that to make the xboxhdm disk will allow you to keep your saved games and build a new harddrive, the xboxhdm disk has the abilty to lock and unlock the harddrive, and if something happens again, it will be easier to recover. _________________

o and once me and my friends are done, i will have my own assortment of weapons to use, we are in the process of making our own weapons for halo 2, one is a telephone that u can beat people with! and were also making a baseball bat with nails coming out of it with the swords properties! thanks for all of your help it is greatley appreciated
