Hello,
I was hoping someone could advice me with something.
I have an xbox which was softmodded a while ago and I think slayer was used.
I wanted to redo it. But I'm not sure if I should use SID or AID.
Can anyone point out what exactly the differences are between these 2?

if it is already softmodded or chipped then use AID (that's a disc)

nother question... do i need to install both the MS Dash plus a Dasboard(softmod) from the AID3?

I only see 3 types of dasboard installs... M$ Dash 5960, Hacked Dashboard and Dashboards(softmod).
Where is this Patched M$ Dash?

well if u have ur exploitable game then u can put aid 3 and put the game saves to ur hd from the adavace section... and re mod it ....
so its like this :
run aid 3 go to advance options then put sid 4.5 to hd , then put ms backup as a dash ( it should wipe out all softmods ) then take aid 3 out and coldboot ur exploitable game and re mod it ....

The thing is.. i don't have an exploitable game if u mean (splinter cell, 007 etc). i just wanted to upgrade the software.

All you need to do is get your hands on AID 3 to upgrade your xbox software. _________________

hmm wow i never thought of softmoding or updating a softmod w/out the exploitable game... is this even possible????
u knkow that game is less then $15 bucks and they are fun games too... i like 007 auf for mutiplayer classic fun.... usualy gamestop or eb games has it ... sometimes flee markets ... and try to get the non platinum edition.. the platinum editions tend to not work often... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
