ok. So a friend of a friend softmodded my xbox. Now I have a softmodded xbox and I want to play Pro Evo Soccer off the harddrive. I tried to follow the instructions using ftp and xboxhdm to upgrade to a larger harddrive. Deviation was that I did not find eeprom in the E: drive. I found an eeprom file in C:backup along with other harddrive info. That is what I used to create the xboxhdm linux. I am a newbie to this whole thing. I don't know what SID is or AID or what was used to softmod my xbox. Anyways I have now used the eeprom in C:backup and created 2 linux boot cds and tried 3 different hardrives with the same result. I get the dashboard running and and ll the applications running on the new larger harddrives but whenever I start to play ANY game (from cd or harddrive) it loads up with the intro screen of the game, plays an intro movie and then all I have is a black screen. A week I have been on this now... Heck I failed a final because I was trying to get this thing to work. What am I doing wrong? Please someone reply me...

and fianly what is wrong ?
Yet again Gus, you must not have read or comprehended the first post by fumzi.
Fumzi, after copying each game, try clearing the E:\Cache folder, and deleting any files in the X, Y and Z partitions, before attempting to load the game, from disc or HDD.
Perhaps it could also be the particular softmod that you are using. Maybe you should look into re-modding with one of the latest softmods, SID (Softmod Installer Deluxe) 3.11, or SID 4.5. More info on both can be found at http://www.aideluxe.com/, or in our forums _________________
