I installed the softmod and everything seamed ok until I rebooted. I get a black screen. The light is flashing, but I can still load a normal game.I went back to reinstall the softmod and the 007 gamesave were gone I used SID 4.5. I believe I need a dashboard does anyone know if its possible to make a evox boot disk to get a dashboard on my system. I have tried hotswapping with no luck. Any other suggestions without using a chip. Thanks in advance.

Did you have MS dash 5960? What dash did you install? You are right you need a dash. Have AID? Get it and load a dash on E. _________________ XBOX V1.4

how can I do that when the gamesaves are gone?I tried bootig aid but all i got was the blacksreen.

I would get 007, because you can load games from your memory card. Get the save for it and boot up 007. Then install the new softmod and dash. _________________ Moddingbandit

and i never heard of anyone saying that they cant fix it with hotswaping...
