as many may already know...there are alot of games now that have M$dash update built into the game...will this update mess up my softmod if i play the game on my xbox? and also my M$dash will never load it just freezes at the loading screen...will the M$dash update fix that problem or corrupt my xbox?

you get no error codes right, just freezes after the intro and never gets to m$ dash, and you hear no activity in the xbox, thats means your xbox is comatose, you wont be able to do anything with it. The only solution is to put a mod chip in it. _________________

No No thats not wat i ment...my softmodded xbox works fine...i'm just wondering if i were to play a game that had a M$dash update would it corrupt my xbox because its softmodded...and the thing about my M$dash not loading its when i choose the "Load M$dash" in my evox menu...i checked the ini file and its correct...it really doesn't bother me in that i really don't need it...i just want to know if i play a game with the M$dash update would it fix my M$dash or mess it up...or will it do anything to my xbox at all.

oh ok, you have to install a patched M$ dash in order to access it, and so long as you dont go onto xbox live, providing what softmod you have, you will be fine. Going on to XBL will update your m$ dash thats what usually messes up your softmod. _________________

so your saying i need to patch my msdash with my SID3 before i play the game?...or can i play without any problems?...i don't use my modded xbox to go on XBL...i have a factory xbox for that

the patched dash is on the AID (Auto Installer Deluxe) disk, and clear your cache on your E:\Cache\ , just delete whats in the folder. Then the games should work. _________________

hmmm....i've installed the msdash from the AID before and got a error 21....but i didn't delete the caches

it has to be patched not the actual dash itself. Clearing the cache should solve the problem of playing the games. _________________
