Anyways, since yesterday, I've been having the error 13 going with my xbox. I replaced the original xboxdash.xbe with a new xbe in C drive. I thought I might still be able to ftp to my xbox even if C drive was a little messed up, because I remember that I totally messed up C drive once before and somehow I could still ftp, and that's how i fixed it before. Auto installer had always been able to load off of my xbox alright. I burnt it on a dvd-r, and it had always worked before. After messing it up, I can't get it to load at all. Maybe it's because I had it softmodded. So does it matter if I have a chip or softmod?

so your asking if aid can be run on softmod or chips right?
yes it runs on any type of mod... however if you got an error code and u cant run the disc then u might of messed up your softmod.....
can u boot any type of dashboard? or can u coldboot ur exploitable game?
coldboot means ... open the dvd tray on xbox , power off power back on with disc inside and let the game run straght throught.. why? to cancel any active mods.... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Nope, I can't boot any dashboard from a disc, I can't seem to get any burnt discs that contain softwares like those to work. I can only get original games to boot from the xbox. I don't have the exploitable games to try out. I didn't do the softmod. I had someone else to do it for me. Can't get ahold of that guy right now. Don't really know him that well, lol. I would try to hot swap it, but my computer doesn't use IDE hd, only SATA.

k look 3 ways of recovering your xbox
1( loading th e game and re softmoding. 2(hotswaping , 3 ( mod chip....
ONLY WAY.... are those 3 ... 4 which is new xbox but yea its a give or go... hehee lol..
i'd recommend gettin the ar for $30 and no more then $15 for 1 of the exploitable games.... 007 auf , sc , ma eitehr 1.... and try gettin the orginal 1s not the platinum....... platinum rarely works.... ar is auction replay auf is agent under fire.... good luck....

Yeah, I might try that out. I already got action replay, just gotta pick one of those games up. Most gamestop or ebgames should have them right? And btw if I do the exploit, that will allow me to ftp again, and I can fix the C drive and not have to reformat the whole hard drive?
