Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2006 6:00 am Post subject: so lost that im starting to lose my mind !!!
ok ive just put in a muppetx mod chip and now im lost. im not sure if the mod chip is working or not. when i boot it up a blue led on the chip flashes but dosnt stay lit , should it? ive been told to flash it but its sapposed to be flashed with evox m8 already but it doesnt boot up to anything other then just the reg. MS dash and all. now the thing is ive read that when this chip isnt flashed already it will start up with a muppetx screen asking where u want to flash it from.. i dont get that it just boots up normally.ive tried it in both banks with the same results. ive checked all my soilering contacts and they are all good the chip is installed correctly. is my chip bad? ive tried to put evox dash on it but it wont read the disk - ive tried dvd-r and dvd+R with auto installer .im i missing something , should the light on the chip stay on??? plaese help i really need to get my kids xbox back to gather.......

Wow there is a new chip I have never heard of...well anyways chances are they didnt have evox on it already since they can't sell chips with hacked bios' on there but if it did hav it on there an evox thing should come up in the top left hand corner of the screen when you start it up before it goes to the regular ms dash....as for using the autoinstaller...just to be on the safe side...you used winrar to extract the 20 something files, correct...and then used dvd decrypter to burn the iso right...what dvd drive and version xbox are you running....later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

u posted on anoter thread didnt u???? but did u try runnin aid 3 while the chip is turned on ? , then flashing it with a hacked bios?

I believe that in order to turn on the Muppet you need to hold the power button for 1/2 a second. (depending upon wiring) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

ok yes ive tried runing aid with the chip on ( at least i think its on , i hold the power button in for a sec or 2 and the power led falshes though all the colors) ive also tried to flash the chip but when i put the flash disk in it doesnt do anything -- i dont get the flash screen just the dont reconize disk screen.....
and yes ive posted in a few differnt forums looking for help -- and about the other chip thats "in" my profile ,, you got me i didnt put anything in my profile nor do i see it in there ---- r u looking at the right proflie?

oops my bad i see what your talking about in my profile ---- ????? but it was blank???? not sure y it was posting different things but it say muppetx now (at least for now til i rip it out my box and throw it in the trash)
anyway how bout some help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is my chip bad?????? or just me?????

Have you shut it off with the AID disk in the drive and restarted it by pressing the power button for about 1/2 (0.5) of a second? _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

yes ived tried that in both banks -- get " dont rec. disk " error
