i have flashfxp, i can ping to my xbox and communicate, i changed my ip in my xbox and changed it back. i open up flashfxp and do quick connect type in my ip for xbox, username and pass. and no matter WTF i do i cant connect to it. it says im connected for like 1 second, then it says, connection failed (connection lost) any help at all would be so frickin suhweet.

Ok.... here's what you need to do. I connect to my xbox exactly the way you do. You need to go into your xbox in system configuration, and make sure it is set to static ip (yes)..... If it is, take that IP and that'll be the one you enter into flashfxp. The username is xbox and password is xbox. Make sure you disable PASV mode because it won't work unless you do so. If you're not sure how to do this, go to site manager and the one that lets you connect to the xbox and look at the tabs. I think it is in the option tab. After you've done that, go to network connection on your computer and then right click whichever port your crossover cable is connected to. After you do that, go down to properties. Then TCP/IP and then click on that. Set ip to manual and enter the following..... 192.168.0.15. After you do that, then try to connect. MAKE SURE YOUR FIREWALL IS TURNED OFF....

tyvm dude, ok it is under the options tab in flash and PASV mode is checked, but it wont let me change any options in that tab or any other tabs. How do i unlock the tabs so i can change things?

ok AIM triton is being gay, i created a screen name twice, two different ones and yes i verified them both in my email. WTF . you got MSM? i got that and a user already. or you could tell me what im doing wrong in AIM.

LOL if i would of listened...well read a little bit closer to how i uncheck PASV mode. well i stoped being an idiot and saw that i needed to click on my ip address for me xbox and then uncheck it...ya im a tard. its not my fault i was droped as a baby a few times. thanks for your time guys
