I agree, it's simple! Except when it doesn't do what it's supposed to do!
I've now tried my friends 1.3 xbox and it yielded the same result - on loading the save game the screen goes blank indefinitely and the eject button is yellow.
I even managed to locate an Xploder cable for transferring the gspx versions of the installers to the memory card but again, same end result.
So either both the SID versions - 4.0 and 4.5 (zip and gspx) - I have are corrupt, or the memory card is dodgy right?

Yes, that definately sounds like a memory card problem, however, I myself have used many "dodgy" mem cards to softmod friends' xbox's and i always got them to work just fine. Sometimes it takes some fiddling.

also make sure you have both gamesaves in your xbox
-SId 4.5 Launcher (Linux Installer) comes with Install Linux Save
and your game of choice, in this case
-Run Linux from MA
make sure you delete other saves for that game, Including Live content, but only for that game.
When the eject light is in orange, it means the exploit worked, and it should be functioning fine according to the nkpatcher system, but if it stays on black screen, is either other gamesaves there, or simply the fact that the menu.xbe is corrupt (ux dash installer). _________________ Xbox v1.1
