Hi all
First of all a big thank you for all the information and help displayed on this site it has been very helpful so far.
now to my question
What files need to be copied to C in xboxhd, should i copy all files from my original hd "C"or just a certain few.

Thank You for being a member on this site and I hope all goes well for you and you continue to post. As for your question, you need to use all the files on the c drive. Since you're building a hard drive, you can either use the original ms files, found under pirrups signature, or you can use your own c drive files if your xbox is softmodded. If you use the softmodded c drive, your new hard drive will be softmodded after you put it in so you don't have to do it anymore. But use all the files as they ALL are very important and your dash won't boot without them.

well let me start by asking what softmod did u do for your xbox? why because it make contain shadow C in other words fake C .....
if you want your new hd to load with ms dashboard as if u were to buy it new then get pirrups ms-c retail dash files... un zip it or unrar it ... and drag EVERTYING to C on xboxhdm1.9 and then you also need your EEPROM to lock your hd or u will end up with error code #06 .......
and if u want to save your game saves music personal stuff etc etc then u need to transfer E/udata tdata... if u want all ur hacked info apps emus then just transfer all E as well.....

Hi and thanks for the replies.
I have used SID 4 and the SC exploit, no problems at all with the softmod thanks to this site, i have backed up everything and FTP'd it to my PC.
I have a file "shadowc" that is 300MB do i need this file for xboxhd.
I will use AID 3 to install all my apps etc after fitting the drive.

Hi
I am a noob and do not want to scew up my new xbox, and I understand that "shadow" is a fake file but I still do not know if I need to put the "Shadow" file in the C folder of xboxhd along with the other files.

no u dont ... its fake files not real... not working files u know.....
to make xbox hd just get xboxhdm put pirrups retail ms-c on xboxhdm1.9 on c folder .... then eeprom is found somwhr on e/udata/4588 orsomtin like that... and then e/what ever what u want on new xbox..... hd
UPDATE : wait scatch that... if u have sid 4.5 then ther is no eeprom patch so its on E/ somti... u'll see it right away.. ur not using 4.0 righ? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
