I've got a xbox that had the chip pulled while the HDD was unlocked. The eeprom was saved to the chip (Ice). Is it possible to lock the HDD so that it will boot past the multi-language error screen? Thanks.

You can either put a chip back into it to lock it. Or you can do a hotswap method and use the utilities to lock the hard drive from there. You can search the tutorial database for "hotswap" or look under Pirrup's signature for the tutorial and required ms-dash files.
