I successfully installed a 200 gig Seagate drive into my xBox. The problem, is that out of 200gig, my dashboard is telling me I have the following:
c: 472.88 mb free
e: 4650.02 mb free
f: 123,408.5 mb free
I'm not a math person, but that doesn't add up to 200gig. Where do I find the rest of that space?
I'm running a softmod on a box made in 2002 if that helps figure this out.

You also have:
X: 799 mb
Y: 799 mb
Z: 799 mb
now you need to Prepare and format a G: drive, It will probably be around 60 GB.
In a softmod F: is limited on total space. Also there is not a full 200 GB in that drive, they use "estimate figures" for the size of the drive, and that leaves the customer with a substantial loss in storage space. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

Okay...a couple of questions then...
1) Can I combine those smaller partitions into something usuable?
2) How do I reclaim the space? I used xboxhdm 1.9 to make the drive workable...do i do something with that to get some of that left over space?

1. No, the XBox needs to have those smaller partitions.
2. No, you don't use HDM 1.9. The easiest way I have found is to boot the AID 2.0 disk and go to the Format/Prepare HDD section. Then you go down to Prepare G drive, do that then go to format G drive. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
