Question Ok hey all at HQ, I'm not new to the moding of the xbox anymore, but I have a Xbox V1.6 and the power/eject dont work...I (when I first started modding) used a 30w iron and burnt off the R3G2 resistor, the pads are gone and I am wondering if their is a way to repair this...it has stumped me for 6 months now and Im frustrated...hear is a pic of the missing resistor(well the spot it was supose to be)

It does work...I have to leave the top off the xbox and the DVD trey top comes right off for I can put a game in....when i plug the xbox in it powers up instantly without thw butons(LED for power/eject light normaly)

With a chip installed and dash I can sometimes open the dvd trey from the menue

I found this in the Tutorials section of XBox-Scene:
http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/%7Exbox/xbox-scene/tutorials/How_to_Fix_Broken_Traces.pdf

You may want to give it a try.
