Hi there. I've been considering softmodding for sometime now but I have a few questions before I go and actually do it. I was planning to softmod my Xbox using this tutorial: http://xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-183.html I have everything I need except for the Action Replay and the Splinter Cell game but it seems simple enough but I was wondering, what risks are involved with softmodding this way and is it easy to recover if something goes wrong? Sorry for the noob questions but I just have to know before I go and do it. Thanks in advance.

well if you fellow the instricutions carefuly and fully undestand it then notin wrong should happen.. but if u really screw up alot then u may not recover it ... BUT DONT BE SCARED i have a solution...

how about read sid disscissions and softmod discissions and get SID4 ... its safe for ppl that dont know much, why? cuz its scirpt so if u dont pass requirements it wont let u mod it... which these arnt complicated its just create eeprom backup and ms backup ...

SO I STRONGLY SUGGEST SID4 if u arnt confident about modding it...

Alright, I bought the Action Replay and Splinter Cell and I modded it. I got to the Evox screen and it plays regular games fine and all but the game the back up that I burned doesnt seem to be working. Any reason that might be?

Clear your cache on your E drive, which is deleting the files in the Cache folder that should fix your problem.
