Ok have the xbox Soft modded and have been trying to get AID3.0 to go on with no real luck. Have it on a DVD-R in ISO form and it loads up just fine. Seem to get issues when trying to istall stuff . Keep getting Error codes when it starts to unzip stuff. Any ideas ???

well first of all does your softmod even work correctly? If it didn't install correctly then there is a problem right there. But if it does work make sure you are not cold booting it. You are in you modded dash screen when you put the disc in. If you have done all that, then it may be the discs you used. Some drives won't accept certain dvd's and cd's. In the AID manual it tells what drives there are and what dvd's work with the different drives.

It has a Samsung drive and using DVD-R's . Dont have an issues actually reading the DVD. What seems to happen is an error unziping alot of the files. Some actually do get copied but nothing actually seems to work after you install it. XBMC seems to install some but not all as I will get an error code on it and the Emulators and so forth only make a few Dir's before I get error codes. Skins seem to install fine though as I can switch between em and music too seems fine.

Ok heres more info...
During Softmod install I choose the Evelution X over Unleashed....
All is fine there....
Aid 3.0 loads just fine...
Now when you lets say choose install all applications to say Drive e ( 40 gig hd ) you get an Error ...
An error occured while unzipping ".
Error Code: 0
Would you like to see the log fie;?
Log File reads as follows :
Begin Unzipping D;\Files\Apps\boXplorer.zip
End Unzip operation
Now sometimes the error code is different for different programs in AID but the log files usually is close to the same..and sometimes after you exit the error code some files are copied over.

i just msg'ed DJB who wrote AID3.. He will check it out when he gets some time.. I CANT see why only you are receiving this error though.. Well unless no one else is using that option..

hm, this is weird, as I've tested the install and it works fine.
Originally I was going to use RAR files for AID, but then I came across similar problems as you guys are mentioning here.
All I can suggest is make sure you burn your ISO to your DVD-R as a slow speed (like 4x or maybe even 2x) as I personally havent had issues like that here...
