I have an xbox that the hdd went out in. It has the x2 in it. I tried to replace the hdd but cant get on the right track. Is this possible or not? I do have a back up of my old drive.

I put the new drive in it but i cant get it to boot from a cd. do i have to do anything to the new hdd for the xbox to be able to see it. and do you know of any good iso's that are available to reload the xbox software?
