I was wondering if there was a different between the 2.Like do u unlock more features with the solder chip than the solderless....

No.. I doubt that very much..
It's just the installation method..

Both modchips would work exactly the same and run the same bioses and OS..

hope that explains a little for you..

any other members go some input?

I have the solderless xecuter 3 ce modchip.I have it installed everything is ok with that.Now I try to flash the bios but I get a screen that says that I have no bios.I thought that the xecuter came with its own bios...Sorry Im a noob at this.I bought it to fix my xbox...I have a v1 xbox with the xecuter 3 modchip.if that helps out any

Hi,

Ok.. Your modchip does come with a bios but its called the CROMWELL BIOS and will NOT boot backup games, application on your xbox.

What you must do is get ahold of one of the latest X3 bioses (which are in our vip downloads) and burn to a CDRW/DVD-R. Then you insert into your xbox and choose FLASH.. It will find the bios and flash your xbox.

Once it is flashed you are all ready to go.. Smile

If you dont know about AIDeluxe i would suggest you look into it:

AID is used after you installed and FLASH your bios..

Recommended Bioses for X3:
- X3 bios
- EVOX M8 bios

Just make sure you read the bios information.. Each bios is for a certain xbox version.. So double check before flashing.
