Have been reading that the different dashboards come with different features and apps, for example some been able to open rar files. I am running evox and was thinking that there might be apps that can be installed to the evox dash to do this? i have been able to install things like new emulators with no prob but have been wondering why some dashboards claim to do things others can't. Doesn't it all come down to the apps installed in your dash that determin what can be done?

hey its ok to ask. We don't bite here. Yes most dashes do the same thing, but all of them do have certain adv./dis adv. that make them unique. Take evox, you can setup your config. settings with it and play emualtors and games through it, but you can't update it automoatically. You have to maunally install the new one. With XBMC, you can play music and videos and even check the weather. You even have xlink kai on it, which is only offered on XBMC and Avalaunch. Some have certain dashes that can only be put on that certain dash. Yousee where I'm going? While some may seem similar, they aren't exactly alike. If you wish to experiment with them I would suggest d/l the dashes as apps. then install xselect with AID and you can setup how you want to boot up your dashes and apps. With this little app., you can have multple dashes load anyway you want.
