Post subject: Installing a new HDD

I am confused to the max regarding installing a larger HDD. I have backed up my C and E drives on my softmodded xbox, as my OEM hdd is on it's way out. I am going to buy a maxtor diamond max 9 80Gb hdd to replace it with. I am confused as i have read so many tutorials on how to install a new hdd. What is the best method of installing a new hdd on a softmodded box with a backed up c and e drive? Do I use xboxhdm1.9? If so do I just put my C and E drive (e drive has the backup folder) In the relevant folders. Or do i copy the contents of my backup folder to the c drive? Sorry for the q's but I am scratching my head big time with this hdd issue.
Cheers in advance

Yep use xboxhdm and put your backup files in the folders - put C in C and E in E. Make sure you put your eeprom in the eeprom folder. Create the iso, burn to disk and then run it with your new hard drive connected to the pc.

I think he means that he wants to know if he should put his C and D drive onto his new hdd he's getting. Which you can do, but you need to setup your new drive with xboxhdm1.9 and then it will work.
