Ok here is where i am pls help me jump this hurddle.
I hotswap. using winxp refresh in device manger. Primary ide detected{xbox hd} Now i go to disk managment. I see 2 drives. my maxtor and the xbox hd. I runn Hdd_driver. it detects. it does file size thing. i skip over and backup as told. Now, im lost, can anyone help me fish pls

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to recover a bad softmod? Are you installing a larger hdd?
Like I posted in your other thread, the xbox hdd is formated as fatx ( the file structure). XP or any other OS will not recognize fatx, only the xbox will.
Use xboxhdm 1.9 to do the hotswap. Read the hotswap tutorial and make sure you understand it. The tutorial list everything you will need. Get your hand on those things first before you attempt anything.
If you try to cut corners you will only get frustrated. Take your time and do your homework. If you don't understand any part of the tutorial, we can help...just ask.

Then you will need Splinter Cell, 007: Agent Under Fire or Mechassult, the respective gamesaves and AID 2.11 .....not a hotswap. Click on the AIDeluxe link at the top.
