ok so anyway...yes i can read and had absolutely no problems using the program!!great piece of software!!!
so anyway my question: can i (with aid 2.11 final in dvd drive)erase or reformat my e:\ drive and put a new default dash say, avalaunch??? been reading for a couple of days and cant find an answer!!
i understand that sid wipes the c drive and what not!! but i was unsure if unleashx (my current default) was still running in the background and dont want a 6-pound-paper-weight!! as i already have a v1.6 from a mod chip install gone horribly bad!!
i currently have:
v1.4 box
120gig hd
unleashx as default dash
would appreciate any help on this a/s/a/p

Absolutely.... In the dashboards menu of AID, select to install whatever dash you want. You dont really need to erase, delete or reformat anything. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

well yes i did that and that did not work which was why i asked if i can wipe that drive and put new dash, so long as i am running directly from dvd and not hd!! thats what i want an answer too but thanx anyway!!
so anyways to clarify the dash i am trying to get rid of is unleash and replace with avalaunch...avalaunch installs but is not default dash!! even when i set it in the aid boot drive menu javascript:emoticon('')

Be sure you are installing it as a dashboard and not an application.
