Ok, so I've backed up a DVD movie to my HDD, as it is a great way movie to show off the HD capabilities of an XBOX. However, I seem to be having some issues with playback of it. XBMC seems to crash whenever I try to play something, and I can't find another program to play it. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have also found media center doesn't like 1:1 copies of DVDs.

Personally, I encode my DVDs with the DivX Codec, which works fine in media center, and it compresses the movies to about 700Mb, so you save a lot of disk space Wink
The only downside is that there are no chapter selctions, multipule audio tracks etc. its just one video file.

Check it out, and see how you go Smile
