Hi I just bought samsung xbox drive off of ebay and ive been looking through forums and am a little confused as to what media mine is compatible with. I got the samsung sdg-605f and after i bought it found that the b is better is there a way to flash the 605f to the 605b at all?

anyone correct me if i'm wrong... I though samsung sdg-605f was the make and model?? Not the firmware.

umm ther is diffrent ver of the samsong dvd drives...

pretty much all samsong are best period..

im sure it reads all disc formates.. cd cdrw dvdr dvdrw .. etc etc..

diffrense between all samssongs drives that i dont knwo.. i have a phillps lol and so i dont need samdsong .. my non twedk philps reads anytin as well..

It is the make and model and as for flashing the sdg-605f can't be flashed - the firmware just won't let you reflash it. I suggest pot tweaking.
