Hello all,
Need some clarificaiton (again)... I have a high def TV and an xbox with the high-def add on. I've read some posts but don't understand if SID 4.0 is compatible or capable of supporting high def. If so are there any procedures or gotcha's I should watch out for?

hi,
ok.. With hi-def you first must understand that PAL xboxes DO NOT come with this option.. If you are running a PAL xbox like i am (living in australia) then you will need to use software to change your xbox into NTSC mode.
To do that you just install ENIGMAH-X Video Selector from the Auto Installer Deluxe dvd-r (aideluxe.com).. Then once it boots on your xbox you push the green button for NTSC mode or RED for PAL (something like that).. Its very simple.
Once you reboot your machine your machine will be in NTSC MODE..
You can then go into the normal M$ Dashboard (original dashboard) and go into the DISPLAY SETTINGS.. You should see the HDTV options as long as you have your HI-DEF cable connected.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A NTSC XBOX you just have to connect the hi-def cables and go into the M$ Dashboard and change your settings.. Done.
