I looked around for an answer, but I couldn't fine one. Anywho here's the questions. What is SID? and what does it do? I know it's something with softmodding obviously, but I've read tutorials that don't mention SID and was just wondering what it is.

softmod installer deluxe....and personally i think sid4's the best softmod going....

I got another question. I was reading a tutorial and it says you need to go into mIRC, join irc.efnet.net and then get the PM from that guy and he will give you a Screenname and password. Well when you get the screenname and password what do you do?.

nah thats for if youre going on xbins to get all the programs and do it the pain in the ass way.....SID4 can be found on here i believe and if not check a torrent site i saw it on www.torrentspy.com

I got SID4, I just need to find an easy Tutorial now.
EDIT: I'm using the Tutorial called something like "Softmod your Xbox in 10 minutes using SID" and I think I know where to go but I got one problem. I've downloaded SmartFTP but when I try to run setup.exe it says it is not a valid Win32 application. Help PLEASE!

hellblzaer55 is right smart isnt good as far as flashxp its the best..
tut ?? for sid4 lol its soo simple u CANNOT messs up why??? cuz its scriped so if u dont pass simple requirements it wont mod it ... for intince did u back up ur eeprom??? it checks for the back up if it faile dthen no mod .. or check as well for ms backup..
in short terms u just load the linux create eeprom backup create ms back up install softmod > region? > ? dual boot or single boot.. and then ur petty much finish..
