can anyone tell me which bios's have LBA48 support and where can i download them.

Get your hands on AID v2.11 (scroll to the top of the page). That has all you need and more. Look for the bios' with 137 in the name. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

so this should allow me to put my 250gb hard drive yeh?

Right.

ok i changed it and installed my hard drive fine.
thanks for that.
however it seems to only have 123gb free on f drive and a couple of gb on other drives, when added up this only equals about 135gb and i have a 250gb hard drive.
is there no way too use all of this space.

r u using chip or softmoded xbox???
if softmoded then ther is no point in lba48 when u can just load up ux or aid or xed and choose F and G and formate them and u should have space now for ur 250... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

ok i just formatted my g drive and my .ini says g drive enabled:

but using xbmc i looked at the g drive and it will not let me make a folder and does not say anything about how much gb it has.
the bios is used was evox.m8plus.137 the 512k version, my modchip is the xecuter 2.6, i loaded this one as my xbox version is 1.0,
so do you know why it is not showing the full 250gb.

are you sure you need the 512kb bios....most likely if you are working around in the files then you are correct...but just throwing it out there...as for xbmc...they have a seperate ini type file i think it ends in xml which needs g enabled just as you did....make sure when you open it up in your ftp program that you right click edit instead of just opening it since it will not save if you just open it....hope you get squared away...later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

Another thought is try the Xecuter2 4983 Bios which is G enabled too.

sorry this may sound like a stupid question too you, but how do i edit the xml file, when i open it i have no option of editing i cannot clikc in the right place to chabge enable g drive from no to yes.
any tips?

dont worry guys i have done it. all i had too do was right mouse click and go onto edit. i am an idiot at times.
