topic im screewed i had a basic version 1.0 xbox and was installing evox and i choose the wrong thing and i backed up right after and it will not work now it will play games but the harddrive is empty alll it can do is play games what am i 2 do and i can not find my backupdisc what ami 2 do?

so that means u can re do the softmod!
but can u play burnd games or aid? ( aka unsignd codes?)
if u can read aid or somtin then restore ms dash..
give us more info what u mean u delted ur hd???

thanks for the idea 2 be able 2 redo the softmod i cannot play unsigned codes and i was tryin 2 install slayers xbox autoinstaller 2.6 but i willl try 2 reinstall the mod thank u ill hit back 2 see if it works and what i mean by i deleted the harddrive is that there was no games saves at all

now it shows error 7 what now? plus on the forums the error section u cannot read error 7 topic cause u need 2 be a vip plus now it wont read games

i think #7 is hdd time out.. let me see the error codes explonation..

im not sure but i use the mechassault hack through memory card then i did all that but 2 just end all this easily couldnt i just get a another hdd but will that end it or no plus it wont even start games any more

sorry was gone4 whole day i was upgrdin hds ( 4xbox) and was busy whole day..
umm
if u cant run any games nor expoitlabes.. then u need 2 do what s called a HOTSWAP ...

thanks again for helpin where is where i can learn bout hotswapping? progress as of now it just shows error 7 again my xbox hardddrive is fried i believe because it sounds as if its gonna explode possibly but maybe not what could i do bout this now?

i even got the easiest idea is what im goin2 do next saturday is trade in my xbox at ebgames get $65 get a brandnew one for bout 30 or 40 or should i just sell it on ebay sayin has error 13/14? cause ebgames said doesnt matter what condtion u can trade it in

its like this
softmods is = software modifications
hardmod hardware modifications
now on hds
it NEEDS to be locked if its softmod
on chip then it doesnt require locking as its hardware mod..
so to answer ur question
no new hd is the same thing as ur current issue.
u need ur eeprom
LIKE HELLBLAZER55 was useful as his LINK is the only way of makin ur xbox working again .. period.
im not lockin out on u but i keep on scratchin my head and keep on sayin wtf thr isnt another way ... well at least i dont know of any other way. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
