Will an NTSC Japan disc play on an Xbox hooked up to an NTSC TV????
Is there any difference between the Xbox sold in US, Japan, & Australia or is the difference mostly in the game discs and the monitors on which the games are played?

i dont see why not i had my PAL xbox going on NTSC for about 2 months and didnt even know the only difference is the resolution and refresh rate. IF youve got a fairly new tv it should be able to take it.
Here i Australia the ACC - (Australian consumer comition) are doing their in promoting modchips , Why because they believe that you should be able to chose the cheapest games from anyware on the planet and be able to play them on your console with a modchip.
Another way of finding out is to check the tvs menu when you are searching for tv stations on RF. _________________ Xbox v1.2
