My xbox is softmodded using SID 4.0 with dual boot feature. I usually use a router to play on live. Since my router broke, I connected the xbox straight to my modem. I then set system settings in my evox dash to static. After i did that, I tried to sign on live and it told me it couldn't connect and please start troubleshooter. Without really thinking, i did and then it says xbox live is updating your system. Then all of a sudden it says update fails and told me to check to see whether the disc was dirty and then everything just went black. I then turned off my system and tried to boot the ms dash. The light flashed red and green and gave me an error 21 everytime. I can still boot my softmod though. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

u pretty much try to connect 2 live it wouldnt so it ask if u wanted 2 trouble shoot u said yes and it auto took u 2 update dash right?? and then u end up with error 21 ...?
u pretty much have to uninstall sid4 and it should be back to normal and re do the softmod ..
i 'v done this b4 but i dont wanna give u the incorrect info..
if u can run the installer then click uninstall softmod and it should have ur ms dash and u hsould be ok
BUT IF U WANNA MAKE SURE U DONT SCREW UP THEN DO THIS I ALWAYS DO IT AND NEVER HAVE A PRPOBLEM
get xed run it click UNINSTALL ALL SOFTMODS then it ask pbl or nkpatacher choose nk patcher it will ask if u want to turn offf DONT TURN IT OFF !!! yet tyhen look for MS DASH 5960 and instal it and it will ask to turn off NOW U CAN TURN OFF..
man ur gettin there but stil kinda slow . but that is ok eery1 is alwys slow..
read sid4 problem # 6 .. i know its about clock but keep on reading that part and it will show u the part where it try 2 update dash and u end up with err0r 21..
BUT IM PRETTY SURE ITS JUST A MATTER OF PUTTIN UR GAME OF EXPLOIT LOAD UR HACK AS IF UWERE GONNA MOD IT 1ST TIME THEN CLICK UINSTALL and presto...
give it a go and just decide on what to do wethere xed or just load the game and click uninstall i think its just game and uninstall i did that couple of times... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
