I have SID 4, and I checked the time before modding and it was OK, but in EvoX is just an hour earlier. I can't go to ms-dash, if I choose it the evox logo appears for a few seconds and then the menu is displayed again.
PS I installed single-boot, I don't care about xbl.

im guessing u did sid4 dual boot =retail evo-x as ur dash ...
hmm... check # 6 to fix this issue.. under sid4 thread..

I am single boot, when I boot in softmod mode there is an option in EvoX called MS Dash, when I select it the evolutionX logo appears briefly and then back to the menu, I thought that was to call ms dash, I am sorry if that sounds stupid. I have now reinstalled the softmod and chose unleash as dash, there is also an option there ms dashboard, when I select it it tells me c:\msdash.xbe does not exist.

what sid is it? 4.0 or 4.5?
hmm werid it shouldn't say that ms dash is not found..
oh srry i didnt read the part where it said " ps . i have single boot"

I will get AID 3.0. Or can I use XED? That one I already have.

yea xed is good too...
just click uninstall all softmods choose nkpatcher . it will ask to turn off DO NOT TURN OFF YET ... then click install ms dash files 5960... and now its safe to turn off...
NOW THIS WILL BRING YOUR XBOX TO RETAIL CONDITIONS ... only do this if u have a mem card to transfer sid4 back .....
but it also has an option on the disc it alrday has the softmod files ..
MAYBE IF U RE MOD IT it will fix this issue... so try removing all mods then re moding it ... maybe it fixix it ... doesnt matter where u get the files to mod it as long as u re mod it... if u want newest sid4.5 is on aid 3 ... bye _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Back to report the good news. I re-install the softmod from XED disc, and now everything works as it should be. The MS dash works when I choose the option from unleash. Thanks gus for all your help, much appreciated.

No, I stayed in single boot, I have no interest in XBL for the time being, maybe when I am not a newbie anymore.

yea i choose ms dash as retail for xbl and to change settings. oh btw some games like halo 2 when u play mutiplayer will split screen left to right insted of up and down.. on widescreen ... i actaully like it like this more viewing screen laterz.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Gus, I have this same issue. however I mitigated the time by seetting the MS dash time (delayed) a few hours. the EvoX time is always 5 hours faster. I'm going to give it a try and reinstall the soft mod. perhaps this will fix the forza issue.
