ive upgraded my xbox hd to a 160gb, i now want to put the old hd in my kids pc, but it wont let me boot the pc so i can fdisk or format it, windows recognises it when i use my usb caddy but it doesnt show in windows.
it still works in the xbox, ive no idea where to go nxt, does anyone know how i can sort it back to pc use ?

I see you have an X3, so I'm assuming the large HDD is running with it. What you ned to do, is pop the retail HDD in, run Config Magic (or, I think you can do it with your chip... Config is just a shit load easier) and unlock that drive. Until the drive is unlocked, you have a paperweight. You won't be able to run it on anything. M$ was j00ish like that. (If there are any jews present... Don't want south park, it's bad for your health ).
So, yeah, run configmagic, unlock that badboy, pop it into your PC and rock. You should be go too go.
