I'd like to get my pc to connect to the xbox for transferring roms, apps, etc. I have a d-link wireless router on the pc and a d-link wireless router/client/accesspoint connected to the xbox and set up as a client. I'm using evox dash and jotted down the ip of the xbox then using flash xp tried to connect using that ip at port 21 using user/pass xbox/xbox but it times out. Am I missing something here, suggestions?

I've done it and it will work. Check your firewalls, your LAN ip to be sure it's all trusted, Xbox (most forgotten step) to be sure it's networking is turned on. I'd suggest let DHCP take care of the rest but some prefer the statis IP route.

I'm guessing it does not connect due to the wireless being in client mode. I have got it working connecting a router and dsl modem, just thought that using a client only would save me more space. Can anyone confirm?
